F1: Verstappen blows off Hamilton brown-noser journalist (Update)

In the Mexico City GP Post-Race Press Conference Sunday after Max Verstappen once again schooled Lewis Hamilton, he was asked to explain why he is boycotting Sky Sports because of their bias Lewis Hamilton Brown-Nosing reporting.

Q: (Tom Cary – Daily Telegraph) A question for Max. Congratulations on the win. We understand that you took the decision not to speak to Sky Sports after the race and after taking pole yesterday as well, I think, and not just you, but also Christian and Helmut and Checo as well. Could you just explain a little bit about why you’ve taken that decision? And how long you might keep that up for?

MV: It had nothing to do with this weekend. But this year, it’s been a constant… kind of like digging, being disrespectful, especially one particular person [Referring to Hamilton brown-noser Ted Kravitz]. And at one point it’s enough, you know? I don’t accept it. You can’t live in the past, you just have to move on. At the moment, social media is a very toxic place. And if you are constantly being like that, live on TV, you make it only worse instead of trying to make it better in the world. You keep being… You keep disrespecting me, and one point I’m not tolerating it anymore, so that’s why I decided to stop answering.

Sky Sports F1 journalist Ted Kravitz worships the ground fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton walks on.

Recently, he called Lewis Hamilton an eight-time World Champion during a recent episode of ‘The Notebook’.

Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz – Lewis Hamilton brown noser. F1 is overrun with British journalist who play up their British drivers to make them look better than they really are.

Kravitz seemingly believes that Hamilton should’ve been awarded the 2021 World Drivers’ Championship, given that it has since been revealed that Red Bull breached the $145 million budget cap by $500,000.

It has been claimed that Max Verstappen is refusing to do any interviews with Sky at the Mexican Grand Prix, including, Sky UK, Germany, and Italy, as a result of Kravitz’s comments.

On Kravitz’s post-qualifying notebook on Sky Sport Saturday after qualifying, Max and his entourage blew right past Kravitz, who wanted to get a word with the 2-time World Champion.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has tried to explain that the breach by no means improved the team’s performance last year, and that in actual fact the breach had “zero benefit” on Verstappen’s title-winning car.

Despite this, Kravitz has continued to hint that Verstappen doesn’t deserve his championships, in his opinion, resulting in the Dutchman not carrying out any interviews with any broadcaster affiliated with Sky.
