MotoGP: Series finalizes 2023 test dates

MotoGP has announced the provisional dates for its 2023 tests. The testing in fact starts at the end of the prior calendar year, with a one-day test at Valencia on November 8, the Tuesday immediately following the 2022 season finale.

– Valencia Test: 8th November

Pre-season testing in 2023 for the MotoGP class will then take place at Sepang and Portimão, as already confirmed:

– Sepang Shakedown Test: 5th – 7th February
– Sepang Test: 10th – 12th February
– Portimão Test: 11th – 12th March

In-season tests for the MotoGP class can now also be added to the agenda. There will be one-day official tests for the MotoGP class following the Spanish Grand Prix and the San Marino Grand Prix:

– Jerez Test: 1st May
– Misano Test: 11th September

For Moto2™ and Moto3, the season will begin with private testing, but with all teams and riders present, at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto:

– Moto3™: 9th – 10th March
– Moto2™: 14th – 15th March

The official 2023 pre-season test will then take place at Portimão:

– Moto2™ and Moto3™ Test: 17th – 19th March

There will also be one-day official tests for the Moto2 and Moto3 classes after the Spanish Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix.

– Jerez Moto2 and Moto3 Test: 2nd May
– Silverstone Moto2™ and Moto3™ Test: 7th August
