F1: Leclerc tops final practice for Dutch GP
In a very tight practice session ahead of qualifying for the Dutch GP at Zandvoort, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc nipped the Mercedes of George Russell by just 0.066s.
Leclerc turned a lap of 1m11.632s on the soft Pirelli tires, the same tires used by all the drivers.
Local hero Max Verstappen was 3rd quick, recovering from a poor Friday, but still down 0.161s from the Ferrari, much to the disappointment of the 100,000 Dutch fans dressed in Orange all around the banked track beside the Ocean.
Carlos Sainz Jr. was 4th quick in the 2nd Ferrari, while Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top-5 in the 2nd Mercedes.
Sergio Perez was 6th quick in the 2nd Red Bull Honda.
Qualifying is up next in 2 hours time. It should be exciting.
