F1: Mercedes upgrades for Silverstone are extensive

The Mercedes F1 team brought the most extensive upgrades to the British GP this weekend.

They include:

1. Revised front suspension
2. Revised Sidepod vanes – repositioned on the side of the chassis ahead of the sidepod
3. Revised floor
4. Revised Rear wing
5. Revised bib wing
6. Small camber change to the forward floor fence

Make no mistake, Mercedes has an excellent chance to win this weekend. Will Mercedes meet this year’s budget given all the changes they have been making to the car, given it was a real dog out of the box?

No crash damage and a 100% finishing record for both cars certainly helps the budget.
