NASCAR: Chase Briscoe Planning 25 Dirt Races
Another example of NASCAR poaching dirt track racing from IndyCar’s former ladder series.
Chase Briscoe plans to run over 25 dirt races this season spanning wing and non-wing sprint cars, super dirt late model, midget and micro sprints. His first race is scheduled for this weekend at the Talladega Short Track. Briscoe is calling his dirt race schedule the “Chase’n Dirt Tour,” and Cup Series sponsor Mahindra Ag North America will be backing the effort.
Super excited to announce the “Chase’n Dirt Tour” thanks to @Mahindra_USA! Going back to my roots! Gonna be running over 25 dirt races this year in wing and non wing sprint cars, super dirt late model, midget, and micro sprints. First one is this weekend at Talladega Short Track! pic.twitter.com/wTCOZEOy7D
