Six NASCAR tracks announce fall 100% capacity grandstands

NASCAR owned tracks at Daytona, Michigan, Talladega, Martinsville, Richmond, and Phoenix all announced Wednesday that grandstands will be fully open for race fans for this falls races (excerpts from press releases):

Daytona:

The list of reopened options for fans include:

  • Fully Open Tent Camping in GEICO Orange Campground
  • Fully Open Infield RV Camping, including GEICO Green
  • Shower facilities will be open and regularly sanitized
  • No spacing restrictions for RV/camper guests and party sizes will no longer be limited
  • Fully Open UNOH Fanzone/Pre-Race Access
    • Saturday Pre-Race Concert on Ballfield (area between pit road and trioval)
    • Fans can access Ballfield and sign the famed Start Finish Line
    • Entertainment and VIP appearances on UNOH Fanzone Stage
    • Take photos in the iconic Victory Lane prior to race
  • Fully Open Hospitality Areas
  • Interactive Displays in Midway and throughout the state-of-the-art motorsports facility
  • Regular Season Finale post-race fireworks celebration

Michigan:

Michigan International Speedway (MIS) will open its grandstands and campgrounds to full capacity for the NASCAR FireKeepers Casino 400 race weekend on Aug. 20-22.  It will mark the first time in two years fans will be allowed at the two-mile track.

Martinsville:

Martinsville Speedway will open its grandstands to full capacity for the penultimate races of the NASCAR Playoffs on Oct. 30-31. There will be no restrictions on the number of fans allowed to take in the action from the grandstands for the Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2:00 p.m. and doubleheader with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoff race at 1:00 p.m. and the Dead On Tools 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff race at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Martinsville will welcome fans back for fully open hospitality and suite options throughout the facility. The GEICO Campgrounds will be fully open including tent camping and restrooms and showers. The Midway will return fully open with interactive displays for fans to enjoy festivities before entering the grandstands.

Phoenix:

When NASCAR returns to the Valley of the Sun for NASCAR Championship Weekend Nov. 5-7, there will be no restrictions on the number of fans allowed to watch the action from the grandstands and hillside. For the second consecutive year, fans will have the opportunity to be a part of the four championship celebrations in three days with championship events in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series West.

In addition to the fully open grandstands and hillside, camping restrictions will also be lifted and fans will have the option to upgrade to the INfield Experience. This upgrade presents race fans with a unique opportunity to experience NASCAR Championship Weekend with amazing access to the garage walkways, pre-race festivities, victory lane and post-race championship celebrations.

Richmond:

The list of open fan experiences at Richmond will truly welcome fans back:

  • Fully open FanGrounds, the track’s modernized infield that puts fans in the middle of the action for an unparalleled race experience from pre-race ceremonies to the victory lane celebration
  • Fully open hospitality options including the Dixie Vodka Victory Lane Club in the FanGrounds, Ally Torque Club and more
  • Fully open GEICO Campgrounds including tent camping, restrooms and showers
  • Fully open Midway with interactive displays outside the frontstretch
  • Fully open Virginia Credit Union LIVE! concert with Cody Jenks on Thursday, Sept. 9

Talladega:

The list of opportunities at Talladega is going to excite fans:

  • Fully open frontstretch towers and grandstands
  • Fully open Talladega Garage Experience on Saturday and Sunday
    • Includes access to Garage Viewing Walkways, Pre-Race Ceremonies* and Victory Lane (*Due to Saturday doubleheader schedule, pre-race access for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race is still to be determined)
  • Fully open for the Saturday Night Infield Concert (artist to be announced at later date)
  • Fully open hospitality areas such as Fan Suites, Premium Box seating and Busch Balcony
  • Fully open reserved RV campgrounds in infield and outside venue (no spacing restrictions and no longer limited to six people per site)
  • Fully open reserved tent camping
  • Space available in three outside free campgrounds
  • Shower facilities will be open and regularly sanitized
  • Fully open for interactive displays in The Midway outside the frontstretch
