Daly fast in Spain

American, Conor Daly set the fastest time of the Spanish based Euro F3 Open championship cars during today's winter test session in Valencia, Spain. Driving for British based, Team West-Tec, who won the 2011 team championship, Daly completed an untroubled day other than having to deal with traffic on his final new tire run.

“This car is very different to the GP3 car and it really feels good. It’s a little frustrating to have such a good day but not see the ultimate lap time," said Daly. “My best timed sectors during the new tire run would have put me faster than the pole position time when they raced here but I got caught up with traffic."

“He did what we expected," said Team West-Tec partner, John Miller. “He never put a foot wrong the whole day."
