2012 Pacific F2000 schedule

Today the Pacific F2000 Series presented by Corsa Car Care Products announced an enhanced prize money package for 2012. For the past several years the series has had a year-end prize fund but no purse for races. Multiple donors have come forward with the funding to put purses in place totaling $20,000.00. All of the Pacific F2000 weekends are double-headers consisting of 12 races over 6 weekends. Prize money payouts for each race will be $600 for 1st place, $400 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd, $100 for 4th and $50 for 5th as well as $150 for the highest placing Expert class driver for competitors between 35 and 50 years old, and $150 for the highest placing Master class driver for those over 51 years old.

These race purses do not take away from any year end prize fund. For the second year, Pacific F2000 will be joined by the Pacific Formula F Super Series. Race purses for the Pacific Formula F Super Series are separate from Pacific F2000 and are mainly provided by Honda. Please see the Honda Performance Development website for payout information http://racing.honda.com/hpd/.
