Kurt Busch says pandemic curtailed his IndyCar plans

Fox NASCAR’s Bob Pockrass posted a twitter video of Kurt Busch talking about his plans for IndyCar.
Pockrass wrote, “Kurt Busch says he did look into competing in the IndyCar road-course race Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. But the timing wasn’t right for a full effort to be put together"
In the video, Kurt said, “I looked at it and with everything going on with COVID. With the pandemic, and the lack of preparation, It kinda shut everything down. As far as the progress and the approach it takes a full effort."
He added that it would have been fun to race with his team in IndyCar after six years. He said, “Everything got shut down but It would have been fun to do with Chip Ganassi Racing"
