“I can’t thank RiceRace and my partners enough for this opportunity," says Lee. “My goal for this season was to join a strong team that could help me grow as a driver and put me in position to compete for a championship. Greg Rice and RiceRace have proven that they are a team that can run up front and win. I am really looking forward to showing what I can do for them on track all season."
Jackson Lee will team with Simon Sikes, also a previous Team USA Scholarship nominee as well as race winner in FRP F1600 and F2000, in full season campaigns for RiceRace. The team has the ability to add a 3rd car for the season or select races. Team owner Greg Rice says “We enjoyed having Jackson and his family race with us at Summit Point. He showed similar speed and skills as the other Team USA nominees that have driven our cars, and we are delighted that we can run him for the full 2020 season.“ The team will prepare for the season by attending the Hoosier Super Tour event at Road Atlanta in late March. The 7-event, 21-race FRP F1600 Series begins in April and consists of events at Road Atlanta, Barber Motorsports Park, Pittsburgh International Raceway, Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, VIRginia International Raceway and Summit Point Motorsports Park.

Greg Rice has been involved in the sport for 4 decades as a driver, mechanic, coach, and consultant. Greg manages the effort, and engineers the cars. Andrew Spencer and Alan Oppal bring their years of experience with junior formula cars, as the lead crew personnel.
