Automakers’ struggles affecting NASCAR

This AP article talks about the rising costs in NASCAR, partially brought on by Toyota's entry, and partially brought on by the introduction of the COT, and the fact that Ford and Dodge are doing their best to help their teams despite huge losses in the showroom. Toyota on the other hand is making such huge profits that they will eventually steamroll right over the American backed teams unless NASCAR stops them, which they could through their history of managed competition.
