ASM and ART Grand Prix to merge
Created in 1996 by Frederic Vasseur, ASM has had great success in Formula 3 and has been undefeated in the championship F3 Euroseries for the past three seasons. ART Grand Prix, founded two years ago by the harmonious marriage of these two great minds, those of Frederic Vasseur and Nicolas Todt, has secured every title in GP2 since the creation of the championship, the stepping stone to Formula One and allowing young greats such Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton to reach the pinnacle of Motorsports, a trend they plan to continue with other great talents of tomorrow.
The new merger, based on the complementary activities of the two companies, reinforces their goals in relation to the nurture of drivers in the world of auto racing. Combining ASM F3 with ART GP solidifies the will of both parties to work together in total harmony.
Nicolas Todt: ART Grand Prix’s zero fault record so far has been closely related to its strong commitment with the ASM team. I am very happy with this merger between the two entities, which is a logical continuation in terms of human, economic and marketing powers. This will allow us to work with more serenity in the future, and will give us the means to become a major actor in the field of Motorsport in Europe.
Frederic Vasseur: The association with Nicolas Todt allowed ASM to secure some exceptional results in the last two years. This crucial step will help us take up the next challenges under the best conditions. It will allow us to build a team that will have technical means as high as our ambitions together with the necessary financial assets to make the investments required to maintain our technical level.
