Panoz sent new parts to rectify the fueling issues that the Champ Car teams were hit with in the Vegas GP last weekend. The parts were received during the week and installed by the teams……………..Friday saw the largest attendance in quite a few years, however, free tickets were available and many fans took advantage of them. With that being said, your editor tried to buy grandstand tickets for two friends for Sunday and found out that a good number of grandstands were sold out……..Are the paddle shifters helping the driver shift faster? WILL POWER: "No, I don't think so. I think it's exactly the same." SEBASTIEN BOURDAIS: "It's costing time on the upshift right now, definitely. I mean, downshift it goes about as quick as I used to do it. But on the upshift, when you look at the speed trace, it's kind of ugly for sure." Mark C.
