Gone but not forgotten

04/13/07 The Champ Car family is very close and we all suffer our losses together. Last weekend, Captain Jonathan Grassbaugh was killed on patrol in Iraq. He was not only a big Champ Car fan, but was also the brother of Dr. Jason Grassbaugh, a member of the Champ Car medical team. One of his last happy memories of being home last summer was going to the Cleveland Grand Prix (Jon is 2nd from left). We mourn him and every soldier that has lost their life in Iraq and Afghanistan.
