Debris damages Busch cars of Earnhardt Jr., Truex

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The weekend got off to a bad start for Dale Earnhardt, Inc. today in the first practice for the Aaron's 312 Busch Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. With approximately 25 minutes remaining in the session, a large chunk of unspecified debris flew off the car directly in front of DEI driver Martin Truex Jr. The debris then went under Truex's car, causing a flat tire and body damage, and smashed a hole through teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s front bumper, which appeared to need significant cosmetic repairs. Neither DEI team looked like it would pull out a backup car and neither driver was injured. Scenedaily.com
