Rahal says new Champ Car impressive

Champ Car rookie Graham Rahal discounts the criticisms leveled at the DP01. In fact, he's a big fan of the new Champ car.

"A lot of people talk about all these problems we've had but you have these issues with any new car," he observed. "Look at all the complaints about the Car of Tomorrow in NASCAR, for example. But I think the new DP01 is performing very well. It is very impressive how much grip the car has. When we went to Portland for the test the cornering speeds were very impressive. I also followed several people during that test and I do think the car runs better in traffic. And that's what's most important because I think the racing will be closer." More at ChampCar.ws
