Turkey: Hamilton tops practice 2

While McLaren rookie Lewis Hamilton continued to get the best of his veteran teammate Fernando Alonso by topping the 2nd practice session in Turkey Friday, Willis returns to F1 in Turkey, Geoff Willis was in Turkey attending his first grand prix for more than a year.

After leaving Honda last year following a demotion, the 47-year-old in July joined Red Bull as technical director.

"Having spent a month now with Red Bull Technology, my first impressions are on the whole very positive, although there is plenty of work to do and as usual not much time to do it in," he said on Friday.

Red Bull had a challenging opening day at Istanbul, with David Coulthard's car catching fire in the morning, and teammate Mark Webber struggling for pace.

Meanwhile Super Aguri's Anthony Davidson crashed with a few minutes to go at turn 3.
