Observations from Zolder – Saturday 2

Walking around the circuit just before qualifying there are many more people here today than Friday. Our early estimates are a Saturday attendance of 20,000 paid. Zolder is so wooded it is hard to put an exact number in attendance until the promoter gives us a better number, but there are people all around the circuit. Some of the hillsides are full…..The weather is still overcast as qualifying is about to begin, but the temperatures are quite comfortable…..Katherine Legge had an eventful morning practice, spinning in the Villeneuve chicane, bringing out a red flag, and then again on the pit road exit where her car just snapped around in a straight line as if a driveshaft broke.
