Spa: Raikkonen on top, Massa crashes

Opening Formula One practice at the Spa Francorchamps circuit this morning saw Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen at the top of the timesheets followed by the two McLaren racers, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso with Heidfeld Rosberg and Kubica rounding out the top six.

Felipe Massa crashed his Ferrari without setting a time. The Brazilian went off and into the barriers at the Rivage corner, as did Toro Rosso's Vitantonio Liuzzi a bit later.

A cool morning greeted the drivers here this morning, with ambient temperatures of just sixteen degrees C.
