Alonso expects to stay at McLaren
Fernando Alonso sees “no problem" staying at McLaren next season, despite not being on speaking terms with Ron Dennis, the team principal.
Dennis revealed at a recent hearing into Ferrari Formula One’s spy saga that he and the world champion had not exchanged words since rowing at last month’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
But the Spaniard, who is in the first year of a three-year contract, still feels he has a future with the Woking-based team.
“For next year, I have a contract with this team and I don’t see any problem," Alonso said. "I have won four races and I’m fighting for the championship so everything is going quite well and I’m happy." More at London Times
