Dallara appoint new Managing Director
Mr. Pontremoli will work very closely with the company President Mr. Gian Paolo Dallara and will take over operational responsibility of the company in the coming months and also take a minority share holding. Andrea brings to Dallara considerable business experience and has a spectacular record in management of technology led companies. He joins Dallara from IBM Italia where he was President and CEO and had a career spanning 27 years.
Andrea’s appointment comes at an important time for Dallara as the company expands further to meet the global demands of the flourishing range of projects being undertaken, particularly in the automotive consultancy business. He will re-organize and prepare the company for the challenges that lie ahead as continued investment takes place in both facilities and personnel.
Having been raised in Bardi in the province of Parma near Dallara, Andrea Pontremoli said, “Dallara is a company that I have always been interested in and long been impressed by and is today a world leader in the racecar automotive consultancy business.
