Rolex 24 Hour 9: Allmendinger leads

After nine hours, A.J. Allmendinger and the No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ford Riley are maintaining an 18-second lead over the No. 99 Lowe’s/GAINSCO Pontiac Riley of Jon Fogarty in the Rolex 24. In third place is the No. 23 Alex Job Racing Porsche Crawford with Patrick Long.

In all, there are seven Daytona Prototypes on the same lap battling for the overall lead.

The GT class continues to remain tight with four entries – two TRG Porsches, one Farnbacher Loles Racing Porsche and the SpeedSource Mazda — battling it out for the top spot.
