KV Racing Technology launches new website

KV Racing Technology announced today that their new website, www.kvracingtechnology.com is now available to both fans and the media.

The new website is regularly updated with weekly news and team releases plus quotes and daily summaries from each race on the 2008 IndyCar Series calendar. In addition there is a photo gallery featuring photography from LAT from each event. The site also includes team, driver and sponsor information, statistics, the season standings and the 2008 IndyCar Series event and television schedule.

Technologically, the site is designed using Homestead software and includes, “active images" (using HTML) on the home page and downloadable features such as team/driver wallpapers. The site is very user-friendly, due to minimal use of flash, thus providing faster loading time for the viewer. It is well designed and easy to navigate while supplying visitors with the content they want. There is also a significant upgrade to the overall look due to a photography/design mix by KV Racing Technology image designer Aaron Justus.

“I am very pleased to announce the launch of the new KV Racing Technology website," General Manager Mark Johnson. “The website represents a significant upgrade from our previous site in terms of the look, structure, technology and the information available. We invite both KVRT fans as well as the media to take the opportunity to browse the site. They will not be disappointed."

The KV Racing Technology website is designed and administered by Drew Halverson. Halverson, who works for Kalmbach Publishing Co. in Waukesha, Wisconsin designing magazine page layouts, is a graduated of Marquette University with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Criminology. He started website design with KVRT driver Oriol Servia in 2000 and continues to administer www.oriolservia.com to this day. Halverson, who started with KV Racing Technology last season, began designing sites as a hobby while in high school.
