Rain disrupts final test day at Barcelona
UPDATE After three days of successful dry testing, the rain finally arrived on cue this morning at the Circuit de Catalunya. Shortly after Jarno Trulli completed his installation lap the heavens opened and the circuit was drenched by heavy rain that continued throughout the morning. The downpour stopped at lunchtime, after which the teams ventured out onto the track. Unfortunately more showers followed, further shortening the running time in the afternoon.

04/17/08 (GMM) As was predicted, heavy rain has disrupted the final session of the Barcelona test on Thursday.
Teams including Honda, Williams, Toyota, Renault, BMW, McLaren and Red Bull did venture onto the wet Circuit de Catalunya before lunch, but Ferrari – scheduled to run with Kimi Raikkonen today – did not.
Force India and Toro Rosso, meanwhile, have obviously heeded warnings that the rain could be set to continue into the afternoon, as they spent the morning session simply packing up.
The ambient temperature is a chilly 13 degrees C.
