Kubica unfazed by Alonso or Rosberg to BMW rumors
Robert Kubica is refusing to comment on rumors that Nico Rosberg could be heading to BMW next season. With Nick Heidfeld under pressure to perform after failing to match his teammate's pace this season, rumors are doing the round that he could be replaced at the end of the year.
This has led to speculation as to who would take his race-seat with Kubica recently being questioned about reports that it could be Fernando Alonso.
"I do not know what the future holds but, if we do both drive for BMW, we would have a lot of fun," he told El Pais.
However, now there are reports that Heidfeld's replacement could in fact be Williams driver Nico Rosberg.
Kubica, though, says it doesn't really make a difference to him who occupies the second BMW next season.
"For me it doesn't change anything if it's Nick or Nico: my teammate is just one of 19 other drivers who I must beat," he told La Stampa. "Regarding contracts, that is not my job, it is taken care of by someone else."
