Ferrari working to cut out mistakes – Massa
The marque's president Luca di Montezemolo called on the Maranello based team to cut out "stupid" mistakes after the British grand prix.
At Silverstone, the pitwall made a key strategy error that marred Kimi Raikkonen's charge for victory, while Massa spun at least five times and finished dead last.
"After Silverstone the team at Maranello worked a lot on many different aspects, such as improving the procedures at the track," Massa said.
"I won't give you any details, because this is confidential information. But we know that we have to act to assure that certain mistakes won't happen again.
"This has to be one of our goals as of now until Brazil," he added.
Team boss Stefano Domenicali echoed Massa's remarks by noting that while the F2008 has been a competitive car, the team has often failed to capitalize on its performance at the races.
"With this in mind, we have reached the conclusion that we have to pay even closer attention to every single detail," he said.
"Methods for doing this have occupied our time in Maranello since the last race."
