We framed Mosley, say prostitute and husband
The prostitute who secretly filmed the FIA president at his Chelsea flat earlier this year has told a British newspaper that her husband – a sacked MI5 officer – simply saw her high-profile client as a way to make money.
'Woman E' is quoted by the Mail on Sunday as saying her husband rang the News of the World offering to sell the story.
"He knew exactly who (Mosley) was," the prostitute said, adding that her husband is "keen and knowledgeable about motor racing" and knew that Mosley was "wealthy, powerful and successful".
She said they simply saw the Mosley story as a way to make money. "Never in a million years did we think it would cause so many problems," she added.
She said her hidden camera, concealed in her uniform, was "all fixed up" by the News of the World.
The prostitute's husband, meanwhile, insists that MI5 – the British security agency – wasn't involved in the setup.
"Nobody from any organization including MI5 spoke to either my husband or myself before or after he contacted the newspaper," the prostitute agrees.
"It was entirely our decision and the result of a moment of madness."
