ISC puts the screw to Denver race fans

According to this Denver Post article, when ISC sold the Pikes Peak International Raceway after it bought it to eliminate competition in the Denver market (this is how monopolies operate, and NASCAR and the France family certainly push their weight around like a monopoly), the deal forbids the new owners from selling more than 5,000 tickets for sanctioned races and 10,000 tickets for unsanctioned events.

In other words, go pound sand Denver race fans — either you come to see races at our track, which we might build, in Denver, or you are screwed. Given its outrageous ticket prices for its NASCAR events, ISC (essentially the France family) is once again asking race fans to bend over.
