Valencia F1 buildings to be razed
(GMM) Perhaps the most charming and interesting feature of the new Valencia street circuit was the building housing the pits and team garages.
At the rear of the F1 teams' allocated areas for the inaugural grand prix last weekend, transporters and motor homes could be accommodated under cover, which made for an unique atmosphere.
But according to the Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell, two of the charismatic market buildings, erected in 1912, will be torn down over the winter, as part of the commercial development of the Spanish port.
