Dreyer & Reinbold Racing re-sign sponsor

Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has announced today that current team sponsor, Dad's Root Beer, has signed on to be a sponsorship partner of the race team through the 2009 season, and as part of the agreement, will debut a Dad's Root Beer livery at the Chicagoland Speedway for this year's season finale.

The livery will be on the #15 Dad's Root Beer/Dreyer & Reinbold Honda of Buddy Rice.

"Dad's Root Beer joined us right before the season began this year, and we've enjoyed the relationship we've built with the company," team co-owner, Robbie Buhl, said. "We're excited to see that the folks at Dad's have seen value in their association with us, and we couldn't be happier to welcome them back for the 2009 season."

As a part of the announcement, Dad's Root Beer will launch an activation program leading up to the race at the Chicagoland Speedway. Programs include performance-based incentives for distributers, a presence at Jewel stores in the Chicago area, and a show car that will be making the rounds in the local markets.

"Obviously, Chicago is a great market for us," Keith Hedinger, President & CEO of The Dad's Root Beer Company, said. "It's where Dad's all started and remains one of our biggest markets. We're really excited to be on Buddy's car and have the opportunity to bring the car to Chicago and showcase the brand, Buddy, and the IRL.

"It will be a great fit and a really exciting weekend for everybody involved and we're just really looking forward to it."
