Biased FIA penalizes Bourdais instead of Massa

UPDATE “The start seemed like a big mess, but fortunately I survived it. The incident with Massa? I was coming out of the pits, he turned in, I was on the curb and there was nowhere else I could go and I was racing him for position. It was a good showing today for me, running consistently in the top five with only one mistake in what was a tough race. All in all, a very eventful race and I am happy to have scored three points."

10/12/08 The Ferrari biased FIA Stewards are trying everything in their power to help Felipe Massa close the gap to Lewis Hamilton. After the Japanese Grand Prix they penalized Sebastien Bourdais 25 seconds for a collision with Felipe Massa. The additional time meant that Bourdais loses his sixth place, falling to 10th behind Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa, Mark Webber and Nick Heidfeld.

The decision was biased in that most observers thought that the investigation into the incident would see that Massa should be punished as Bourdais appeared to be ahead when the collision occurred.
