Emotive and Allan McNish Announce Exclusive Partnership
The alliance creates the appropriate forum for McNish to share his wealth of driving knowledge with young racers – gained from more than 20 years of racing, including two wins at Le Mans and Sebring, as well as winning the ALMS Championship three times. The addition of McNish solidifies Jim Russell as the leader in racing instruction with the best cars, finest coaches, most relevant curriculum and state-of-the-art facility.
"I am very pleased with my new partnership with the new Jim Russell Racing Drivers School," said Allan McNish. "With the recent addition of state-of-the-art FJR-50 cars and purpose-built campus facility at Infineon Raceway, one of America's most demanding tracks, drivers, engineers and mechanics are given the best training at this most critical time. And with previous graduates from Emerson Fittipaldi to Scott Speed, it proves that the correct racing school concept is just as important today as ever before."
McNish will also participate in select Audi Sportscar Experience and Audi Driving Experience events which are both managed by Emotive. Each program offers participants the opportunity to drive Audi vehicles, including the Audi R8 sports car at Infineon Raceway through the Audi Sportscar Experience and the new Audi Q5 in a five city Audi Driving Experience program.
"A relationship of this magnitude with someone of the professional caliber of Allan McNish is very special for Emotive," said Michael Bauer, founder of Emotive Group Ltd. "Today's announcement accomplishes what few automotive experiential marketing companies can achieve – a world-renowned racing driver ready to participate in driving and racing programs that develop future talent in motorsports."
"Having a driver of Allan's caliber as a mentor to the next generation of drivers is the perfect solution for us," said Chip Pankow, President of Emotive. "He is a true professional who is dedicated to the sport and exemplifies what any young driver should strive to be."
Details on programming and scheduling will be released at a later date.
