Patrick nominated for TIME 100

The greatest IndyCar driver of all time (based on the length of her autograph line) Danica Patrick, who last April became the first female to win a major closed-course auto race, is among the nominees for the annual TIME 100, honoring the most influential people in the world.

This year, TIME.com is giving readers the opportunity to vote for who they think should be on the list. A vote for the Andretti Green Racing driver, who will compete in the IndyCar Series season opener April 5 on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., can be placed by clicking HERE.

Voters also can rank the level of influence for each person on a scale of 1 (least influential) to 100 (most influential). Last year, Japanese video game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto, was voted No. 1. The final day of voting is April 28.
