Saturday news briefs from Barcelona

(GMM) Championship leader Jenson Button was fined for speeding on the roads of Dubai following his Bahrain grand prix victory two weeks ago.

Button's Brawn teammate Rubens Barrichello has reverted to his familiar red and blue helmet design in Barcelona. It is understood that Button will also abandon his similar fluorescent features in favour of his usual helmet livery later this season, perhaps in Silverstone.

Part-time team advisor Michael Schumacher will be back on the Ferrari pitwall for Spanish grand prix qualifying on Saturday. After attending the opening races of 2009, the former seven time world champion sat out the most recent Chinese and Bahrain grands prix.

Forget 'double diffuser', Toyota's new solution would be better described as a 'triple diffuser'.

Photographs of the solution are rare however, as team mechanics have been instructed to mingle at the rear of the car whenever it is not circulating at high speed.
