NASCAR drug addict resigns

Roush Fenway Racing says Ben Williams, who was suspended by NASCAR last week for violating its substance-abuse policy, has resigned and is no longer with the team. Williams served as gas man on Roush Fenway’s No. 16 NASCAR Nationwide Series team, but a team spokesperson said he has resigned. The team had no other comment. Williams, Sprint Cup driver/owner Jeremy Mayfield and Front Row Motorsports Cup crew member Tony Martin were all indefinitely suspended Saturday for violations of the substance-abuse policy.
