No crisis meetings for Saturday
(GMM) There are no more F1 crisis meetings planned for the remainder of this weekend, FIA president Max Mosley has been quoted as revealing.
After the stalemate was not broken in the seven hours of meetings on Friday, FOTA chairman Luca di Montezemolo said the parties were due to get together again in Monaco.
But Mosley is quoted as saying by Germany's Auto Motor und Sport: "There will be no further meetings here in Monte Carlo."
Meanwhile, the big paddock rumor at present is that Toyota is not taking its hard-line stance against the budget cap for the same reasons as Ferrari.
It is suggested that the carmaker has already decided to follow its Japanese rival Honda out of the sport, and has simply eyed a good excuse to justify it.
