Cosworth – Laser Ride Height Sensors – New Pricing
Cosworth Electronics understands the ever increasing demands on motorsport budgets. To help with this our team has worked closely with our suppliers to reduce costs, which we in turn are able to pass on to our customers.
Accurate measurement of ride-height with lasers is the only way to truly understand the aerodynamic performance of your race-car.

Some key benefits include: –
Ruggedized for motorsport use – all of our sensors have been designed specifically for running on a race car and offer excellent reliability, some of our customers have run the same sensors for over 4 seasons without failure.
Replaceable Windows – it is difficult to prevent ride-height sensors being damaged from stone or gravel, that is why our lasers have customer replaceable windows.
Transient Light Handling – No change in output with changes in ambient light. This is especially important where cars move between sunlight and shadow, on bright surfaces such as concrete and where the car moves over painted curves.
High Accuracy – 0.03mm resolution and <900 micro-seconds response time¹.
Excellent Handling of High Temperatures – sensor operates up to 80 °C with 0.006% / °C thermal drift¹.
Advanced Filtering Techniques – sensor measures ride-height across a short line preventing inaccurate measurements a single point would give from any “holes" in the track surface.
Single Integrated Unit – no need for separate transmitter and receiver making location and mounting easier.
