Day 2 for Schumacher

One day testing in a kart at Lonato wasn't enough; he was back in training again today to make sure he is fit enough for his return to F1 behind the wheel of a Ferrari.

Kart The German racing driver is not allowed to train in the F60, which is the car Ferrari is currently racing. So in the run-up to the European GP in Valencia on 23 August, Schumacher once again opted for a kart to get used to being back in the driving seat. Just like yesterday, he took to the Lonato (Brescia) kart track today with Luca Badoer, one of the Ferrari test pilots, where he will train until 5pm, when the track closes.

Second home "This is like a second home to Michael. He has been training here for years, right from when he started out in F1 in the early 90's" officials at the Brescia kart centre explained. "He is always very polite, and he had his whole family here with him yesterday."
