10/20/09 Just what the IRL needs, more bad PR. Check out the October 26, 2009 issue of the National Enquirer. It's on the newsstands now. David Letterman, in his Rahal Letterman Racing shirt, and his mistress are on the cover at the Indy 500. The photo was taken in 2006. The headlines read:

David Letterman Lover's Story
He promised her a baby
Gave her $2 million
Caught! Dave & mistress at Indy 500

The story says that Letterman put his girlfriend in charge of his Indy car team which she knew next to nothing about. We realize this is the sleazy National Enquirer, but this story is not going to go away.
