Z-Line Designs Teams Working Together for a Cause

The roar from the crowd will be deafening as Kyle Busch, NASCAR’s Nationwide Series point leader and Justin Wilson, Top 10 IndyCar driver, lead a pack of their teammates and racing rivals including Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin into the Nikki Beach Club on South Beach November 19th to headline a red-carpet fundraiser for Operation Helmet. In hot pursuit will be numerous celebrities from the world of music, sports and entertainment all joining forces to support Operation Helmet which provides helmet upgrades for our soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Hosted by Jim and Monica Sexton of Z-Line Designs furniture with additional support from GameStop, the world’s largest video game retailer, this star-studded event will feature signature Nikki Beach entertainment, music by DJ Dojah, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, a grand selection of champagne, wines and top shelf beverages plus game stations with the latest equipment and accessories provided by GameStop as well as a number of surprise musical performances.

Jack Arute, IndyCar auto racing commentator for ESPN and VERSUS will be on hand to entertain the crowd and to ramp up the bidding at the Silent Auction with scores of valuable gift items including a private jet flight to Las Vegas with accommodations for two at Caesar’s Palace and two tickets to a spectacular concert featuring CHER as the Grand Prize. Also on the auction block will be two "Indy Race Car Experience" track rides; two suite level tickets and hospitality at the INDY 500, Brickyard 400 and the MotoGP IndyCar race and signed pieces of sports and musical memorabilia " all available to the highest bidder and for a great cause.

Busch has donated an official NASCAR/Z-Line Designs driver’s suit which he will autograph at the event. He notes, "I’m so proud to support Operation Helmet. I know that my helmet is vital for protection on the track and our military forces deserve the highest level of protection in their equipment as well. I look forward to meeting the fans who come out in support of Operation Helmet at Nikki Beach."

Justin Wilson will also be donating items from his 2009 season to help the cause. "I’m very excited to help out Operation Helmet," expressed Justin Wilson. "I know my helmet is a very important piece of safety equipment and I want to make sure that the soldiers have what they need to be safe."

Z-Line Designs founder and CEO, Jim Sexton and his wife, Monica selected Miami to host this fundraiser as it would coincide with the grand finale of the NASCAR Nationwide Championship Series at Miami’s Homestead Raceway on November 21. With Busch currently the point leader in the Series, the Sexton’s are clearly hoping that a celebration on – Victory Lane – will follow the success of the charity benefit for Operation Helmet. They are counting on support from the Miami community. According to Sexton, "I’m honored to have the opportunity to introduce Operation Helmet to the citizens of Miami. The brave men and women of our armed forces risk their lives everyday for freedom and they deserve the best equipment while performing these dangerous jobs with selfless dedication. All the funds raised at this charity event will go directly to Operation Helmet’s efforts to provide helmet upgrade kits for our soldiers in harms way."
