NASCAR finale TV rating

UPDATE ABC's live coverage of the Ford 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Nov. 22 earned a final national household rating of 3.6, averaging 5,606,608 viewers. The rating was down 10% from a 4.0 for last year's event that also aired on ABC.

ESPN2's live coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford 300 at Homestead earned a final national household coverage rating of 1.3, down from a 1.6 rating for last year's race that also aired on ESPN2. The telecast averaged 1,685,543 viewers. ESPN PR

11/23/09 The overnight TV rating on ABC for the final NASCAR Sprint Cup race of 2009 at Homestead-Miami was a 3.2, down 11.2% from the 3.6 overnight in 2008, and down 16% from the 3.8 overnight TV rating in 2007.
