Massa to also test Ferrari on Wednesday

(GMM) In what Ferrari has described as a "Christmas present", Felipe Massa on Tuesday did 30 laps of the Mugello circuit in a two-year-old formula one car.

In the midst of a testing ban, the Maranello based team explained that the F2007 single seater was run by the separate Corse Clienti department and fitted with "exposition tires".

"Everything went well," the Brazilian driver said.

Referring to the weather conditions in the morning, Massa added: "It's a pity that I could only drive in the afternoon. Let's hope I can be back (on the track) tomorrow."
