Fan can win the ultimate Sebring hot lap

Less than a week remains for Sebring fans to register to win the ultimate on-track experience during the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. A hot lap around the Sebring circuit with five-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell is now up for auction on ebay from now until February 27th.

Bell, a member of the Sebring Hall of Fame, will drive a Lola T70 at speed with the high-bidder riding along (lap will take place Saturday morning, March 20th, exact time to be determined). The winning bidder will also receive two four-day Sebring Supertickets, an invitation to Friday's Hall of Fame cocktail party, and a souvenir program.

Bidding closes at 7:07 pm EST on Saturday, February 27. The winner must wear a helmet and driver suit (provided).

Bid now by going to ebay item #250582478963.

Bell still holds the record for the fastest race lap ever at Sebring – 130.70 mph – so get ready for a ride of a lifetime! And remember, this could make a great gift for someone special. The Lola T70 Derek will drive is powered by a 5.7-liter Chevy V8, developing about 500 HP. Owned by Archie Urciuoli, it has an extensive racing history dating back to 1966.

The Sebring Sports Car Racing Hall of Fame is a 501(c)3 non-profit entity. Your bid is a donation to help the Hall of Fame's mission of preserving Sebring's sports car racing heritage.
