Di Montezemolo: Important to be realistic

'Humility' is the word at Ferrari prior to the second of nineteen race weekends for the 2010 season. After enjoying a fantastic return to form in the shape of a one-two result in Bahrain last time out, company Chairman Luca di Montezemolo advices his employees to keep all feet on the ground.

With the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final race of last year, having seen Ferrari suffer a miserable race in which it scored no points, the contrast could not have been greater at Sakhir ten days ago although di Montezemolo refuses to become over-ambitious.

We need some great humility in this race," the 62-year-old Italian said ahead of Melbourne. "We know that we have to work and there is still lots to be improved, such as performance and reliability – it's important to stay realistic.

"In Melbourne it will be fundamental to have a good qualifying on Saturday because, as usual on city circuits, to start from the front will determine the final outcome." GPUpdate.net
