Dale Jr. still NASCAR’s biggest earner

No surprise here: Dale Earnhardt Jr. tops a recent Forbes magazine listing of NASCAR's 10 highest-earning drivers. His estimated annual income (but really, who knows with these guys?) is $30 million.

Behind him in the top-five are Jeff Gordon at $27 million, Jimmie Johnson at $23 million, Tony Stewart at $19 million and Carl Edwards at $14 million. Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth and Mark Martin complete the top-10, jammed together between $11 and $13 million.

The same report lists Hendrick Motorsports' commercial value at $350 million, well ahead of Roush Fenway Racing ($238 million), Richard Childress Racing ($153 million), Joe Gibbs Racing ($144 million) and Richard Petty Motorsports ($124 million). The back-five are Penske Racing ($110 million), Stewart-Haas Racing ($98 million), Michael Waltrip Racing ($88 million), Earnhardt Ganassi Racing ($71 million) and Red Bull Racing ($59 million).

Only Stewart-Haas, Earnhardt Ganassi and Red Bull showed an increase in value over last year.
