Kanaan pissed Danica cut him off

Tony Kanaan has turned down the volume on his displeasure with a move by teammate Danica Patrick in the heat of the Texas race.

"Nobody is mad at anybody," Kanaan wrote on Twitter on Monday. "People just like to talk."
Kanaan attempted to pass Patrick low on the entry to Turn 3 after a restart late in the race. Patrick turned left, Kanaan had to lift, and he lost several positions. Patrick eventually finished second – her best finish since winning at Twin Ring Motegi in 2008 – while Kanaan finished sixth. No penalties were issued.

After the race, Kanaan intimated he would avenge his teammate's move, saying, "What goes around comes around." During an appearance on Speed's Wind Tunnel on Sunday night and subsequent Twitter postings, though, Kanaan softened his stance, in part because of backlash from his postrace comments.

"We can't always please everybody," Kanaan wrote on Twitter. Versus
