Bobby Labonte launches iPhone app

Like AutoRacing1.com recognized and implemented this year (Completely free to our regular subscribers), Bobby Labonte, the 2000 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion, has officially launched the first NASCAR driver Smartphone app. Labonte teamed up with XCO SportsLink to provide motorsports fans the opportunity to get the latest news about Labonte on their mobile device. The app is now available for download for all iPhone, iTouch and iPad users on iTunes in the App Store for 99 cents. The app will be available for Blackberry users soon.

This new app will allow fans to get the most up to date information on Labonte and give fans an inside look at his other interests including Bobby Labonte Racing, the Bobby Labonte Foundation and his marketing firm, Breaking Limits. The application was developed by XCO SportsLink and will allow Labonte fans to track their favorite driver with never before utilized technology.

Fans will be able to download race schedules, results, stats, bios and more about Labonte and his ventures. This is the first app XCO SportsLink has developed for a NASCAR driver and Labonte becomes the first NASCAR driver to have a Smartphone app. Users can also access Labonte's Twitter feed as well as his Facebook page.
