Viso crashes in morning practice

KV Racing's EJ Viso crashed his indyCar in Saturday morning practice at Watkins Glen. Viso ran wide into the runoff area on the outside of Turn 1. His car then ran over a curb which propelled him across the track and into the inside Armco Barrier. That impact threw him back across the track again and this time he hit the outside Armco Barrier. Viso is fine but his car is pretty much torn up. He will probably be forced into the team's backup car.

"When I hit the curb it broke my underwing and I had no control after that," Viso told AR1.com. "I will probably be forced into the backup car if it cannot be fixed."
