Justin Wilson injured his right thumb on Saturday when he collided with Ryan Briscoe during the second qualifying session.

Briscoe was trying to squeeze one more qualifying lap in the session when Wilson ran into him from behind. The two drivers briefly exchanged words and they each shoved each other. Briscoe called Wilson's move "desperate."

"We're all hustling to get around, just because your lap is screwed doesn't mean you have to take the guy out," Briscoe said. Wilson accepted Briscoe's handshake, but he did so with his left hand because his right one was aching and swollen. X-rays were negative, but Wilson felt some pain in his thumb.

Briscoe will start seventh while Wilson will start 11th if his thumb is ok. A decision will be made this morning.
