Renault F1 signs minor sponsor
Renault F1 has confirmed a new link-up with EFG International on Thursday afternoon at Spa, with the global private banking group having signed up for the remaining seven races of the 2010 season.
As a result of the tie-up, logos of the Zurich-based group will now be seen on the sidepods of the R30s driven by Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov.
“We are delighted to welcome EFG International to the Renault F1 Team’s partner network for the remainder of this season," said Renault F1 Chairman Gerard Lopez.
“EFG is probably the leading bank in historic motor racing and is a respected premium brand."
Founded in Switzerland and with a worldwide workforce of approximately 2,400 employees, EFG’s group of private banking businesses currently operates in over 50 locations in 30 countries.
